Instrument Manifolds
Instrumentation manifolds are devices used in process control systems to simplify the installation and maintenance of multiple instruments, such as pressure transmitters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors, within a process pipeline or system.
They serve as a central mounting point for these instruments, allowing for efficient and organized connections while also providing additional functionality for process control and safety.
There are remote or direct mount manifolds that provide threaded ports or connections for attaching the instruments, ensuring a leak-tight seal and facilitating instrument installation and removal. Direct mount valves typically use a combination of flange and threaded connections.
Alternatively, remote mounting manifolds allow for installation away from the instruments using threaded connections exclusively.
