Stick Tubing
Stick tubing is versatile tubing made from metal alloy materials with two types of manufacturing available, seamless or welded.
Seamless tubing is manufactured through an extrusion process where raw steel is heated into a workable form and stretched into the required size and shape of the tubing being manufactured.
Welded tubing on the other hand is produced mainly with sheets of stainless steel being formed into a tube shape and then welding the seam longitudinally.
While both options are readily available at Omni Services, welded tubing may be more cost effective and used more in general instrumentation such as the medical or food and beverage industries while seamless tubes will be better in higher pressure resistance industries like chemical, oil or gas lines.
With a wide variety of different alloys for general instrumentation like 304, 316 and 316L or high purity alloys like 316, 316L or VIM/VAR including specialty alloys like Monel and Hastelloy, Omni services will meet your stick tubing needs for any operating system.
