Omni Services is proud to be a founding member of The National Association for Hose and Accessories Distributors (NAHAD). Being an active member in the association keeps us at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. Omni Services president, Chuck Connors has served as the president of the NAHAD council and Karen Brandvold (CFO) currently serves on the NAHAD board of directors.

In an effort to provide best practices throughout the industry NAHAD commissioned a group of manufacturers and distributors to develop a set of guidelines for the storage, fabrication and delivery of fluid conveyance products. The Hose Safety Institute was created to distribute, educate and monitor those that choose to adhere to these best practices. Omni Services is proud to participate in the Hose Safety Institute (HSI) and has incorporated the Hose Safety Institute exams into the training for sales, fabricators and warehouse employees so that it is woven into the fabric of our quality and safety programs.

Our employees are required to pass testing on specific guidelines directly related to specific families of assemblies (hydraulic, industrial, Fluoropolymer). Each book of guidelines covers pertinent information regarding these assemblies. (How to identify threads, how to use manufacturers guidelines, how to identify hose, how to figure overall length, proper assembly procedure, pressure testing,etc.).
