Medium & High Pressure
While medium to high pressure quick couplings have the same job as general instrumentation couplings, they can handle much higher pressures. General instrumentation quick couplings can only handle up to 10k psi, while mid to high pressure can handle 10k psi up to 30k psi. These couplings are mostly used in systems that deal with higher pressure operations like hydraulics or compressed air.
HQP Series
The HQP series has a push-and-pull type quick coupling without a check valve giving a working pressure of 10,000psi as well as a fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While there are other material options for the O-ring, the stem and body material is made out of high tensile 316 stainless steel.
While a push-and-pull quick coupling type is incapable of handling pressure when disconnected, a slip sleeve lock design prevents accidental disconnection as well as a locking mechanism that will ensure stem retainment for your application.
HQB Series
With a working pressure of 10,000psi, the HQB series has a S17400 Stainless Steel stem and high tensile S17400 Stainless Steel body. With a fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for operation from 0°F to 400°F and a screw type quick coupling with check valve and metal ball sealing, this quick coupling is fully capable of handling full pressure when disconnected, with a flow coefficient up to 0.53.
These screw type quick disconnect hose couplings are designed for easy-to-use manual connection of hoses and other high pressure fluid control components in a safer, more reliable way.
HQS Series
The HQS series has a high tensile 316 Stainless Steel stem and S17400 Stainless Steel body. These are screw type quick couplings without a check valve, meaning this coupling can not withstand any pressure when disconnected.
With a flow coefficient up to 33.4 and a working pressure up to 20,000psi, the safety factor of this coupling is 2:1+ and has multiple materials available for the O-ring in operation. For medium pressure testing applications, this is a great option for your system.
HQC Series
The HQC series has three options between couplers, Nipples with a check valve and Nipples without a check valve. All three options have a working pressure up to 30,000psi and a flow coefficient up to 0.66.
The body and stem material where applicable is S17400 stainless steel and the couplers and nipple with check valve have fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for operation from 0°F to 400°F with other materials available. While each of these quick couplings have a push-and-pull type nipple or coupler, the series couplers and series nipples with a check valve are capable of withstanding pressure while disconnected, while the nipples without a check valve are not.
Polymer Push Fit Fittings
Push-in fittings are designed for use in a wide range of industrial, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, purification and water treatment applications.
Produced from FDA compliant materials meeting NSF 51 and 61 these fittings make connections fast, efficient, simple and cost effective with corrosion resistant teeth allowing these fittings to interconnect with multiple materials without the need for special tools or tube inserts.
Push fit fittings have typical operating pressures up to 230psi depending on the media and temperature and are offered in an incredible array of configurations including valved options.
