Quick Connects

You need the right tools or equipment to get the job done; more importantly, the right tools or equipment can ensure that the job gets done well. At Omni Services, we understand that every part of a machine or assembly, no matter how small, is important to its functional success, and this is certainly true for couplings.

Couplings are a pivotal component of most industrial applications – using the right coupling connections can mean reliable machining, while using the wrong couplings can lead to a machine failure, loss of product, profits or worse – injury to you or your employees. With a seemingly endless range of connectors, coupling styles and manufacturers, finding the right coupling for your application can feel overwhelming, but with over forty years of fluid conveyance experience, Omni Services is here to help.

We can help you identify the proper connection for your system media, temperature and pressure, and ensure a successful connection for your application. Whether you operate in the food processing sector and need a sanitary, FDA-compliant fitting, or you are searching for a heavier duty connection to support industrial fluid and gas transfer, Omni Services has the couplings you need to get the job done efficiently and safely.

Omni Services stocks an incredible range of couplings from industry leaders like SSP, Fitok, Danfoss, including quick connects, tube fittings, push to connect, FDA compliant fittings, pneumatic air fittings and many more. Connect with Omni Services today to start building your fluid conveyance solution.

Instrumentation vs Med-High Pressure

Instrumentation

General instrumentation quick couplings are typically used in general industry applications with working pressures up to 10,000psi. With a wide array of designs, material, sizes, and pressure ranges, these couplings can be used in applications from alternative energy and mining, to aerospace and manufacturing. Omni has a wide array of valved and un-valved options stocked and ready to go for all of your quick coupling needs.

QC Series Quick Connect Couplings

QC Series

The world’s first food grade push to connect tube fitting, designed for liquids. Widely used for high-purity applications, include food and beverage, drug, and chemical applications. Acetal and polypropylene couplings meet FDA & NSF requirements.

QF Series Quick Connect Coupling

QF Series

The QF services quick connect has a working pressure of up to 6000psi and a full range of high-nickel alloys material options for your application. With a bidirectional full flow design, this quick connect makes for quick and easy installation and operation, along with interchangeability with some of the largest brands in the market.

Featuring smooth and open bores on either end, this un valved quick connect helps minimize pressure drop and allow for easy cleaning.

QV Series

With a working pressure of 2000psi, the QV quick connect series has a large bilateral flow area for a higher flow capacity and material options from brass up to most high-nickel alloys. With a positive valve stop to maintain valve alignment, this also provides metal to metal valve stop to ensure the valves can fully open.

Designed to withstand the higher working pressure range with reliable sealing, the QV series has hardened nipples and sleeves as well as solid bar stock construction, and ball-locking mechanisms to make for a quality coupling and avoid damage from hydraulic and mechanical shock. With a 4:1 safety factor, our QV quick connect will assure reliable connection in your application.

QM Series

The QM series has the option of double end shut off (DESO), single end shut off (SESO) or Full-flow quick connect. These options have a working pressure up to 4000psi with a wide range of material selection, to include exotic alloys.

With a 4:1 safety rating and other key performance benefits like interchangeability with some of the largest brands in the market, our QM Series Quick Connect will exceed your expectations for a push-pull style quick connect.

QTM Series

The QTM series is one of a kind in its PTFE sealing design, with push-to-connect functionality for quick and easy operation in your systems. The QTM design is made to reduce air inclusion and spillage with a locking mechanism that has a large contact area to ensure reliable stem retainment while using PTFE sealing to ensure a diverse array of media types can flow easily.

QTM series do not employ O-rings sealing and can be used in high purity applications such as semiconductor fabrication. With a working pressure up to 4500psi, the QTM is available with DESO or SESO with a keyed option available for safety and reliability in multi-circuit scenarios.

Medium & High Pressure

While medium to high pressure quick couplings have the same job as general instrumentation couplings, they can handle much higher pressures. General instrumentation quick couplings can only handle up to 10k psi, while mid to high pressure can handle 10k psi up to 30k psi. These couplings are mostly used in systems that deal with higher pressure operations like hydraulics or compressed air.

HQP Series

The HQP series has a push-and-pull type quick coupling without a check valve giving a working pressure of 10,000psi as well as a fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While there are other material options for the O-ring, the stem and body material is made out of high tensile 316 stainless steel.

While a push-and-pull quick coupling type is incapable of handling pressure when disconnected, a slip sleeve lock design prevents accidental disconnection as well as a locking mechanism that will ensure stem retainment for your application.

HQB Series

The HQP series has a push-and-pull type quick coupling without a check valve giving a working pressure of 10,000psi as well as a fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While there are other material options for the O-ring, the stem and body material is made out of high tensile 316 stainless steel.

HQS Series

The HQS series has a high tensile 316 Stainless Steel stem and S17400 Stainless Steel body. These are screw type quick couplings without a check valve, meaning this coupling can not withstand any pressure when disconnected.

With a flow coefficient up to 33.4 and a working pressure up to 20,000psi, the safety factor of this coupling is 2:1+ and has multiple materials available for the O-ring in operation. For medium pressure testing applications, this is a great option for your system.

HQC Series

The HQC series has three options between couplers, Nipples with a check valve and Nipples without a check valve. All three options have a working pressure up to 30,000psi and a flow coefficient up to 0.66.

The body and stem material where applicable is S17400 stainless steel and the couplers and nipple with check valve have fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for operation from 0°F to 400°F with other materials available. While each of these quick couplings have a push-and-pull type nipple or coupler, the series couplers and series nipples with a check valve are capable of withstanding pressure while disconnected, while the nipples without a check valve are not.
